What are the main reasons you decided to cancel your subscription with Hubspot?

I'm just not getting enough value from hotspots! I feel like we were scammed during the sales process. We were not able to use the startup discount that's 80% off even though we are qualifying that and we submit document and the corporate b******* is making it so difficult to do it and then we will bundle with some marketing hub sales hub that we don't need and the pricing was based on the number of contacts which we have to constantly delete number of contacts and I have to talk to five different people every year to renew my contract.  I had enough.

Hubspot's product experience is reliable and works as expected

I wanted a small sales license but the sales team bundle me all the different products that I don't need.

It works ok. the sales automation feature is cool. but the newsletter is just ok. the website is very difficult to use, so this year, I move our website out of Hubspot to Webflow. We also had to ill the newsletter program because hubspot's newsletter feature is difficult to use and manage.

I do not enjoy using hotspot. It has all hype but not enough value. I think the company is too full of themselves as they already enter into the large company face that's not friendly to small a business and has too many rules to prevent business working with you. Although I think the people I interact with was cool. So I would say the highlight is the employees at hotspot

The only time I hear back from the success or support team is when they need to renew me the rest of the time they disappear and every time in order to renew. I had to have conversation within 3 months ahead of time talking to five different people in different department. It's f****** pain in the ass. I hate working with all the rules in the sales department.



What is one thing we could have done to keep you with Hubspot?

Make it customer first. I think hotspot has lost its vision. It's profit first is tricking people to get more revenue but not taking care of customers. You never think about reaching out to customers when one is not renewal time. Only when you need it to us to pay more then you show up. So I just as a long-time customer lost the faith of you guys

Just sell us the things we want exactly. Not trying to bundle up things and offer customer real care and support to make a success rather than turning the success people into renewal machines.

Clickup. It is free and we have enough visibility across the whole company and I don't need to deal with difficult sales team at hubspot!

Clickup is the tool my whole company use, I can pass on product feedback to product and engineering team without integrations

If I use hubspot, then I have to integrate hubspot data to Clickup and it is just an added steps unnessary for our stages of company.
